Do you self-medicate after googling your symptoms without checking with your doctor?

I do. It's cheap, PLUS I'm afraid of hospitals (not necessarily doctors), PLUS "the internet is as big as you want it to be" (line from PLDT advertisement) that you can almost search for the right medication for the symptoms without the doctor. :D

i am also a doctor and it is pretty easy for me to treat myself and my children without going to the doctor, in case if i have to ever go to the doctor i can check whether he is giving correct medicine or not.the major problem faced by me is that almost every day there is a person sitting outside my door to get himself cured and to save the money of going to the doctors.

Well, yes. Besides it's a lot cheaper, considering I'm almost knowledgeable which is good and bad for me knowing I know much about my organic and biochemistry.

well, i usually do self-medication when symptoms are not that difficult to treat but consult a doctor when these symptoms seem to be insatiable....i google it, asking for proper medications from reliable online websites...

Sometimes I self medicate when I experience only minor discomforts like flu, colds and other. Rarely do I go to doctors. Dont know, maybe I fear doctors for no reason hehe.
